Doe’s anybody make holster for revolvers w/red dot on them?I have some FA 97’s, I sometimes carry hunting. There are times I put a Vortex Venom on it.I modified a Uncle Mikes holster, but it’s pretty flimsy.

Several holster makers do this. It is usually a custom deal due to the many different red dots and mounts. I have a simply rugged holster made for a ruger bisley with a vortex venom red dot. I also have the chesty puller system which turns this holster into a chest rig.

I have used a modified Uncle Mike's with reasonable success.

But I would like to find a suitable purpose built rig.

Try Urban Carry. They have a pretty neat interactive website that helps to get the right holster.

I just ordered a custom rig from https://www.diamonddcustomleather.com/pages/contact-us
They are the best custom rigs I’ve seen so far. They’ll last a lifetime, made for heavy use and the long haul.

Not certain what type of holster you want, I’m using a Galco Cross-Chest (tanker style) holster for my S&W 460. I merely made a notch is the holster to just cleat the red dot sight. Galco makes a holster specifically for scoped handguns, but the opening on the holster is much longer than needed for a red dot! memtb
