Good morning fellow Booliters.

I'm looking to place an order with MP Molds and two shipping options are available to ship to Canada.

Fed Ex International Priority and UPS World Wide Express Saver.

Last mold I shipped I sent with UPS and was hit with an additional Fee upon Delivery. About $30 CAD. It wasn't explained if that was the Duties on the parcel or just an additional Handling fee.

Does anyone know if Fedex has an additional handling fee? I'm fine with paying duty but want to avoid handling fee as I feel the handling fee is the shipping I already paid.

UPS charges GST and PST on top of whatever brokerage fees they add.

Rather than shipping via Courier, I don't see why MP can't ship by mail. It will definitely take longer to arrive, but the costs may be less.

I will reach out to them and see if they can. It can take weeks, I'm not in a rush.

Not sure about Canada but the last one I got from him in June in the US was via Fed Ex. It came in less then 5 days with no surcharge.

Mail's the way to go. There will probably be duty (at least there was on mine) If you can wait on them, but it will get there eventually mine always do.

Thanks. I’ve emailed them. Hopefully they get back to me in a week or so.
