Someone posted a link to a “better” aftermarket powder funnel for Dillon measures, but I failed to bookmark it. I have the Double Alpha 9mm and 45 funnel, but would like something similar in 44. Double Alpha doesn’t make one. Any ideas?

Uniquetek makes one I think. MK Machining makes Dillon upgrade parts too.

Lathesmith here on the forum is the guy you want. Funnels to YOUR dimensions. Heck of a nice guy to boot.

I can vouch for the quality of Lathesmith’s work. He basically made me a custom M die powder funnel for my SDB. That turned out to be a bit tricky, given the limited range of movement allowed by the press, and took a couple tries to get to a workable solution. Lathe smith was very patient, putting up with my hare brained ideas.

He's made about half dozen for me and couldn't be more pleased.

Unfortunately Lathesmith can't make them any longer. Anyone knows about other sources?

Do you know why he can’t make them? Is he out of business?

I forget the name, but if you send a note asking Double Alpha for one they may respond with a suggestion to call their vendor. They do not resell all of the calibers that their vendor provides. I was going to get one in 41mag then decided to have lathesmith make one for me.

I’m traveling, but if they don’t give it to you send me a PM and I’ll look for it when I get home next week.

Lathesmith, told me he could not get or did not have the correct metal to make the powder funnel.

I use a grade 8 bolt to make them and that isn't expensive but I don't make them for sale.

Lathesmith, told me he could not get or did not have the correct metal to make the powder funnel. That's a shame he isn't making these anymore. Hopefully it is just temporary, as he provides a great service at a fair price.
