does Iosso weaken brass

I have 2qts or so of it from an estate auction. Does it weaken brass at all? I tried it on some 9mm brass and it works very well

I have used the iosso for charging media for years with great results and no ill effects but never tried the water soluble wash soak type. A capfull before starting put a nice shine on the brass. New media would start a little slower until the iosso got up to strength then went faster.

Brownells sells iosso brass case polish. If that’s the product your referring to it’s safe on brass.

Years ago I bought some gun show .357 Magnum that was advertised as cleaned with IOSSO liquid. About 20% had the primer head snap off leaving a ring of brass in the pocket. I have no solid proof, but I strongly suspect that the primers corroded in after inadequate rinse or drying of the cleaner.

I would decap the brass before I use the IOSSO, but other than that I see no issue.
