Wife and I went for a walk this afternoon, 45 minutes on the Bona Dea trails. Saw a few ducks and squirrels. Coming back through town temperature at one of the banks was 78 degrees. Was cloudy so did not seem quite that warm.

Yes an unusually warm sunny day over here. I grilled a rib eye with salt and pepper and drank a bottle of Corona beer in the sun.

That is odd. I spent yesterday wading around in a foot of snow with the temp at 20. It finally warmed up to 25, but with the wind it felt more like zero. As I type this, it's 19 degrees, and I'm getting ready to go out and do it again. jd

Christmas here in middle TN. was 74 I believe. I heard the record here was 76 degrees in 2016.
Still unusually warm winter so far but you know that’s going to change soon.
Tomorrow New Year’s Day here 72 and then Monday high of 38 with 23* night temps.
Keep warm and safe y’all.

And we will see snow here in the Sonoran desert tonight and tomorrow.
I retired from -40 to the desert hoping for global warming.
That was my "Cremation of Sam McGee" plan, and now I'm cold again.
My snow peas are up, though.
