I picked up a used one of these the other day. It's a .38 Special with the 4 3/4 inch barrel. It's one of the slickest little guns I've had in years. Anybody else shoot one?

Are they a full sized SAA?

No, they’re roughly the size of a Ruger Single Six .22.

Those are slick little guns. They are about 3/4 the size of a Colt SAA, just a smidge larger than a Ruger Single six. A CAS shooter of my acquaintance had a pair of them. He shot them very well and used them with a 357 carbine for his competition guns. They made some with birds head grips and shorter barrels, sort of like the Uberti "Thunderers." They are listed as available in a 32-20/32 HR combo package, as well as the 38 Special. I believe they were also available in 41 LC, but I've not seen one.

I would have liked a 5 1/2 incher in 32-20, but I don't think they ever made any, though they have advertised them as available from time to time.

I would love to see Ruger make a .38 Special single action about this size, even if it only held 5 shots.

I have a pair, and yes they are sweet to carry and shoot. Our standard load is DEWC crimped in crimp groove on top of 3.5 grs. of Unique or 3.4 grs of HP-38. Both shoot to the sights.

I take it that the Jr. P is load five and keep an empty hole under the hammer like the Colts?

I carry it with five in the cylinder. It has the frame mounted firing pin.

I love mine. I bought the 32-20 model with a second cylinder in 32 H&R Mag.

Mine is in 41 Colt. Fun to shoot.

It's good to see I'm not alone on liking this gun. Finding a decent cross draw holster seems to be a problem. Any ideas on that?

Lot’s of custom makers will create just what you tell them you want. Often for less than the big companies.
