348 conversion.

I have some 348 cases that are marked with magic marker, 8 m/m LEBEL. and chamber in my BERTHIER. question, how would I go about making some of them out of 348,s?

That is a very bad move!
8 Lebel is currently available as ammo or brass.
348 is near unobtainium.
Do measure these formed cases you have forward of the rim to see if they are 348 sized or 8 Lebel sized. There is a significant difference. You may have to size your 348 brass on a 15 ton press and turn them on a lathe to get them small enough to chamber in your 8 Lebel or your chamber may have been reamed to 348 dimensions.
Trade your 348 for 8 Lebel.

Are you thinking of making 8×50 R French lebel. I bought some PPU brass from Graf &Sons a year ago was going to make 9.5×47R from them and gave up. I have 100 that I haven't messed with and 50- that I annealed. I ended up using 44-77 brass from BACO with.513 base diameter to make the 9.5×47R.
PM me and maybe we can work something out I have no plans to use them.

Graf etc says they have them in stock for 1.02 ea in lots of 50 + shipping of course. I got 49 with the Lebel chambered rifle I recently purchased, guess that was a real bonus!
