I love this Tikka. Mixed headstamp range brass. I wonder what it would do with National match brass and match primers.
Dang that flyer.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211215/90707b331ec815a1a9ccb85faa8f369b.jpg

Very good.

It looks like you're about at the point of diminishing returns.
(A lot of work for very small improvements.)

I'd call the rifle and load good, and maybe practice more on breath control, trigger squeeze.

Powder & charge?33.0 of 842. Solid 2000 fps. Maybe a bit more. Need to re chronograph this load since I changed some of the loading details.

Tikka guarantees 3 shots into 1/2" . I believe them. 1:11 twist.

I miss the 8x57mm T3 Hunter I had to sell. I've owned LOTS of bolt action rifles and the Tikkas DO shoot fantastic right out of the box. This is 3 shots at 3800 fps MV at 100yds.
Your .308 is a keeper!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211216/83beee5700d23684220f346a46813407.jpg

Nope straight run boolits. The mold is very consistent though. And 4 cavity.

That makes sense. It is likely that flier was a bad bullet....and that is good news. You have a good load there...nicely done.

Nice shooting! I love my Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in .308. Shoots great with the Lee 200gr RN, of Lyman 311041.

   I'm very humble!

I wasn't so lucky with my .308 (Rem. 700 SPS Varmint). I must have tried well over a dozen loads. Found the sweet spot though- RCBS 309-180-F (208gr. ready-to-load), CCI-200, and 34.0gr H4895. Just over an inch at 100yds and 2300fps. Now I'm down to 1/2lb. of H4895. I saw a pound at a LGS two days ago and almost grabbed it- until I saw the price- $52! :holysheep
