Hey guys. I'm still fairly new to reloading, but as considering adding the Beowulf to my list of calibers since MAN those rounds are expensive! I recall shooting some .45ACP "shells" with some #4 shot while camping a while back and it got me thinking.. the Beowulf might be a great candidate, especially considering the bullets are 350gn or so, AND it takes the same powder .410 shotshell does anyway, Lil Gun. I dunno.. thinking maybe 1/2oz of #6 shot would be pretty fun out of my 16" barrel AR. Any info appreciated! Or hell, any info/tips on Beowulf in general! Cheers.

Might be interesting for a short range snake load, but rifled barrels don't play well with decent patterns.

50 beowulf...
headspaces on case mouth. It would be real hard to come up with a load that would headspace correctly in an AR. You'd need a longer case to neck down that would headspace on chamber or leade.
