Just purchased a Marty’s Mold on Fleabay for .410” roundballs . Thing has fourteen cavities this should be an improvement (I hope) over the pair of Tanner single cavity .415” molds I’ve been making 000000 buck with . Supposed to be delivered 12/21/21-12/24/21 we will see . My load in the 8 gage when using the Gualandi wad handles ten of these pellets . Granted I don’t need a huge number each time I cast , but 14 a pour vs ONE is a sizable difference . Even if one or two don’t fill out properly each pour , I get enough to fill a shell with each pour .

Once you get it up to temp it will spit them out pretty fast. I have two of them and they are great.

The fourth 8 gauge I’ve acquired made it into my sweaty paws today . So this mold may be needed more than I thought . We will see LOL’s !

Well I suppose I was over enthusiastic ! Got the email they Ebay that the mold was in my box , got there today no mold no card to pick up at the window . So I’m waiting on the F’d up PO to make “their ruling” I’m sure I’m going to be screwed out of $90 .

Well amazingly I got a call from the local postmaster to come and pick it up . Evidently they put in a wrong box and the recipient returned it.

I have 2 and like them. Clipping the smaller pellets is a bit tedious though.

Well this should be a piece of cake over what I was doing with two Tanner .415” single cavity molds . One 8 gauge shell with the Gualandi wad holds ten of the .415” pellets . This .410” gang mold drops 16 a pour so this thing should be leaps and bounds above what I’ve been doing .

I’ve yet to try this .410” mold . And I’ve also bought a .740” Marty’s Mold to make punkin balls . But on a side note I bought off Ebay a pair of four cavity .410” molds that have sprue cutters and work in what I consider a more natural way . The Rooskie molds are supposed to be here in mid February so we will see .
