Seems like back in the 70's there was an (almost) universal load for the Garand but I can neither remember it nor find it. Anyone???
My go to powders are IMR 4064 and IMR4895. I load to keep my velocity around 2650 to 2750 feet/sec. I have not broken or bent an op-rod using this method.
I have always 150gr load data.
