The Wednesday before Thanksgiving went to Bible study, felt OK until the end. Driving home I had a very intense pain in my left side. Went home to eat something had some cooked shrimp about a cup full earlier that two hospitals I had a Thursday morning went to emergency room (local not hospital) they did a CT scan and said we are sending you to the hospital you have a perforated bowel. Bad news no beds available at the two hospitals so spent the night there. Next day to the hospital, still no food surgery a possibility. Good news surgy was out still no food, Sunday night I finally got a cup of beef broth (colored water) and a small cup of ice cream. Monday more of same feeling better. Then in comes dr. said you are going home with a (get this) liquid diet. Then in comes the scale I went in at 215 now 210 heck of a way to lose weight. Not over yet , wife went to dr. with a cough expecting a upper raspatory infection, no Coved +. Happy Thanksgiving! Bah PS we boath have all the great shots including booster. So much about it works HA

If your wife isn't in the hospital don't say the vaccine doesn't work. It is designed to prevent, but to prevent hospitalizations and minimize the effects more than prevent the infection.

Please be very careful in the responses. The virus is not to be discussed and should not be mentioned. Far to many issues on both sides and a member can/will be banned.
