Help me... I have a Henry 45-70 single shot and I am looking to put a scope on it. I love the way it shoots but just like an optic on my rifles. I am looking for a fixed power scope around $100 max that will hold up to the recoil of my rifle. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

To meet all your criteria, I think you’re going to have to look for a used scope. Maybe a red dot optic? I’ve played with them on my 45-70 1886 and got some pretty impressive groups with it on the gun.

NatchezSs.com, has Sig Sauer 3x9x40 Buckmasters scopes, with flip caps and throw levers, for $94, and a forever warranty. I bought several of them and the 3x 12's and put them on rifles for folks last month for deer season, 5-6 shots and done, track great, clear as a bell. I know you wanted a fix power, but for a bargain like this, turn it on the power you want and leave it there. Just thought I would chime in.

Old Japan made Bushnell Banner 2.5x20 is what you need, should be able to get a nice one on Fleabay for under a c-note.

A couple of days ago I bought a Vortex 3-9x40 for my son in law for Christmas and it was $99 on special down from $200.

It’s not a Luepy or Nightforce but I’ve been happy with my Vortex scoped rifles

I have an older Japan made Weaver in 4x that works well on a Henry .44 mag. That may be one to search for on Ebay as well.
