I have a forum friend I've never met , but we have had a number of exchanges of goods and services over the last 10-12 years . It's a small forum with an active core group so we get to know each other about as well as you can never meeting face to face .
Without going into the whole sorted mess he and his wife have done about as much for their daughter and her kids , short of organ donation , as one can do over the last 4-5 years . Including getting the daughter out of a bad place , cleaned up , and taking the 2 older boys . It has been a horrible chain of circumstanced misfortune and no good deed going unpunished . They have managed to keep going , I don't know how but they do .
This afternoon their daughter was killed in a car accident and their grand daughter is in an ICU in pretty bad shape . The kids are all the family that's left aside from the MIA father the kids don't have any other family either .
I only ask that they might gain a little peace , and that the grand daughter makes a swift recovery . Greg and Katie .
