I finally got a deer with the 40-65 Bullard. It wasn't a trophy by any means, but I had a doe tag for mule deer and got this one with one shot at 120 yards right through the heart...

Dead center, right where you aimed! Can you tell us what no. the mould is and diameter? Did you use black or smokeless?

I didn't figure it would take you too long to put that Bullard to good use as soon as I saw it over on the CAS forum.

Glad to see that Old Bullard had a chance to hunt again Very satisfying to harvest an animal with a a vintage rifle, a cast bullet and handloaded ammo.
