I have about 2000 Remington Primers, mostly Large Rifle, and some small rifle. They are in paper sleeves with wood holders that are slotted for the primers. They are still good primers,
I forgot to add (Not for sale).

I believe that are folks here that can tell you the age if you post a pic of the packaging and/or the lot #.

You'd have to prime a few cases and try 'em, but I'd figure they're still good.
The wood trays are probably from the 50s & 60s.
In the 70s, everything in the world started to be made of plastic.

If they 'pop', I'd sure load target/practice ammo with them.
If they proved reliable, I'd load them to hunt with too.

They last a long, long time if stored half way decent.
People often talk about live ammo still being good from WWII and even from before that.

I did mention that they still work, and I have shot at least 500 of them and still have a couple thousand..
