I want a load that is fun to shoot, even if it has a rainbow trajectory out to 100 yards or so. My current load is very uncomfortable in the M-94 carbine. I like to shoot the rifle but not very often with the load I have currently.

What is your favorite plinking load for the 32 Winchester Special? What diameter do you size your cast bullet to? What bullet and how hard, ratio of alloy, not Bn since I don't have hardness tester? Filler, yes, no? Any other details would be appreciated.

10 grains of Unique 170 gr. RNFP sized as cast .323” Ben’s Red lube for 1400 FPS in a 20” barrel. It is very accurate in my 1956/94 .32 Special.

3.0 gr Blue Dot + 32 gr Goex Fg behind a .315" 170 gr bullet paper patched to .325". Darned entertaining, very accurate, and little recoil just a lot of noise.

The 16" barrel twist of the .32 WS is the same as the .32-40 and plainbased .32-40 loads work well. Try 16-18 grains of 4227 with a Remington large pistol primer and Ideal #319247 cast 1 to 25 tin-lead and loaded as-cast and unsized, lubes with 40-60 olive oil and beeswax and you will be pleasantly surprised. Velocity about 1350 fps. Adequate woods deer load.

I use 16gr 5744 with the Matt's 185 gr .323 Gas Checked Flatnose, CCI200 or Fed210M. I get outstanding accuracy out to 200 yards, but winds can affect horizontal dispersion. Recoil is mild in a Marlin 336A 24" barrel, Limbsaver recoil pad, Simmons 4-16 scope. I have also used 8 gr of HS-7 with the commercial plain base 165-170 gr at .322 and .323 for decent under 100 yard accuracy.

Lyman 31950 (about 110 grains) with 8 grains of HP-38 or Titegroup-- around 1500 fps
Ideal 321-427 (about 135 grains) with 5 grains of HP-38, 1010 fps
Lee C324-175 (175 grains) with 6 grains of HP-38, 1090 fps

all out of my 1949 vintage Win 94 in 32WS

Wait what? You mixed smokeless with black powder?

It’s called ‘duplexing’ small charge of fast pistol powder near the primer then the black powder charge on top.It reduces fouling and many claim zero fouling and no wiping between shots.
