Good morning all. I'll be honest, I'm having a bit of a struggle today. Have a safe and blessed day.

Watch Your Step

"So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.”
—Ephesians 5:15–16

Quite honestly, I wish some Christians would never share their faith. That’s because they want to talk about their faith, but they don’t want to live it. And sometimes they do more harm than good for the rest of us.

Before we can effectively witness for God, we must walk with God. Jesus said, “You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve” (Matthew 4:10 NKJV). Effective service comes out of worship, and an effective witness comes out of a walk with God.

In contrast to those who contradict their faith by the way they live, there are others who love the Lord and are walking with Him, but they are very quiet about their faith. We need to realize that God wants us to verbally communicate our faith as well. There needs to be balance.

We want to walk with Him, and we also want to be a witness for Him and have a testimony. Every one of us has a testimony. It may be a good one, or it may be a poor one. But we have some kind of testimony.

What kind of testimony do you have? You determine that by the way you live today. If you take care of your character, God will take care of your reputation. If you seek to walk with the Lord and honor Him in what you do, then you will have a good testimony.

And we need that today, because the marching orders that our Lord has given us still stand: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15 NKJV). God wants to use you to go out into this world and share His good news.

God wants to use you to be a witness for Him. Would you avail yourself to the Lord in this way?
