i just found some 9mm cci alum. cases with a single flash hole, not the two like a berdine primer. is this something new. i know the alum. should not be good to reload, but if it was safe for one load it should work for two. no not 3 times just once fired to reload. i would use it in action matches where you run and gun. you loose your brass. these are not max loads. what do you think?

Nine is so cheap....but then what the heck. I would use it but first test it out a little. I wouldn't try to make Major.
I have heard of people reloading aluminum Blazer ammo, not sure if it was higher pressure ammo like 9 or the 40. I would guess at it and say you'll get 2 reloads off the stuff providing they are lite loads. Also use a good resizing lube.

I have reloaded both the 9mm and 45 ACP using the Blazer Alluminum.
Cant say that I really recommend it as the neck tension was very light. Even after applying a heavy crimp I felt uneasy about it.

I have reloaded many Wolf steel cased 45 ACP without a problem. Only worry there is rust.

I'm once-loading 45 blaser. 4gr Clays 200 grain semi wc and they work fine. Nice to just leave them lay.

I drilled and pryed out the primers from a few aluminum 38's. This has been a long winter.

You might want to measure the water capacity compared to a brass casing-I never tried it just a thought.

9mm brass is much cheaper than medical treatments.
Aluminum work hardens very quickly. Your salvaged cases may be much more brittle than you imagine. Except in a true emergency, I wouldn't consider reusing aluminum cases and chanceing a catastrophic failure.

I have reloaded 45 ACP Blazer cases repeatedly to see how many times I could get . I got 5 to 6 times and then the necks split. This was done with only 20 rounds of cases, so not a large sample. There was no noticeable difference in the performance as compared to my brass case loadings. Just my results, try at your own risk.

What they are good for is indoor practice rounds. A wax or rubber bullet powered by the primer only. Of course they will have to be cycled by hand.

Sell your aluminum cases to a scrap dealer and buy 9mm brass cases if you need to save money.

Make that .04!! I agree 100% with Jack. I'm told the "N R" stamped on Blazer cases means not reloadable.

Aluminium is not the same as brass. False economy. You have got 30,000+ psi going off in your hand, do you really want to compromise your hands and face just to save a little money?

I really don't see how you are saving ANY money by using AL casings-9mm brass is almost always laying around for free just go pick it up.
