Made a mistake by using a pan instead of a basket and now have a bunch of bullets stuck in a blob witH excess coating glueing it all together. Not just bullets stuck together. Anyway to remove the excess or do I jusy melt and recast?

If they've not been baked acetone should break it down.

They have been baked. I think I’ll melt and recast. Seems to be the least work.

If baked melt and cast. If unbaked acetone will take the coating off. On the batches I’ve had to wash off. I use one container to remove the bulk of the coating and another for a final rinse before re-coating. Probably overkill cleaning in two steps but I save the acetone to use for the bulk removal next time.

from everything I've read, once cooked n cured it can not be removed.
