$79.00 !? I need to go to Springfield Sporters and buy a few to put on E-Bone. I suppose some people must think E-Bay is THE gun parts place. There was an ejector box complete, with bidding to $38 and you can get'em all day long at SS for $16.

Heh... I'll see your $65.00 Mauser, and raise you my No.1 MkIII Enfield, "sporterized" by Parker-Hale (just cut-down, really), and bought at the Hudson's Bay Store in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories....for $9.99!

Of course, this was 1964, but it was still a hell of a bargain for a camp rifle for use against bears.

And I bet you sold it for a profit too.

For the Argentinian style with the mag release in the trigger bow, maybe, but for a scrubber, $10, its really worth about $4, but the guys gotta make a living.

The auction has ended and Westhunt bought it for $100.00. Gentlemen, I suggest we clean out our parts boxes and list the items on eBay. Some of us may be able to retire early.

...............Man I just DO-NOT get it! Maybe it was because it had the guard screws with it? I'll betcha ole olliedog03, the seller is right now burning up the phone lines scrounging more of'em. Sheesh, ya just never know.

Here's a deal at GPC-Numrich:

It's a good looking setup too. Has a floorplate release inside the guardbow.

Can one of you guys give me a link to ebay? I get into it occasionally, but I never see much that's interesting, lots of new gear bring prices I can get it cheaper at the shop for, and occasional bargain, but not much joy. I must be sniffing the wrong bums or something.
Thanks, Mick.

That triggerguard is not a standard military one (no lock screws , no hole for sling loop at the front of the triggerguard and has a floorplate release button). Probably came from a commercial FN action, but still not worth $100.
