I have had great success with these pellets. Wallyworld has them in some stores but not in my area so I have been getting them from Amazon. At $6.24 delivered (Prime) they are an exceptional bargain. Most of the online retailers have them at $9.50-11.50 plus shipping.

.81'' (average of 10 - five shot groups) at 50 yard out of the tin, and sub .75" (10 groups) with a bit of Ballistol as a lube.

I was an Army armorer (76Y) We had access to an almost unlimited supply of blanks. Sooo, Being the genius I am, I super glued .22 pellets to the blanks and single loaded them in my M16. Very powerful and surprisingly accurate.
More to the subject, I was just looking at that same pack of pellets today at Meijers. I passed since I'm stocked pretty good and really don't shoot the air rifle much.

I used the Crosman pellets in .223 with excellent results. I had my local gunsmith open up the primer pockets to accept shotgun primers and it works great.

That is an interesting concept for someone who does not want the drudgery of manually cocking a pellet rifle or the expense of getting into PCP's. Would you share the accuracy you got?

I like the idea of using 209's as they are currently less expensive than SRP's and should yield good velocity.

Might make a decent grouse/rabbit/squirrel load to have when out coyote or deer hunting, where a .223 is legal for deer.

I might have to fire up the lathe and make up a box of cases.
