I have gone thru many pages of posts on this forum lots of info but have not found info that I am wondering. At one time a few yrs ago I had a intrest in coating some cast bullets that I had cast even bought a couple dif colors from HF. Fast forward a couple of yrs do to health reasons have had both my legs amputated. My whole entertainment thought process has changed I will no longer be hunting and such as much as I had done for more than 40yrs. That being said I have been liquidating my stuff am keeping many of my handguns and still going to be doing my reloading . But I am no longer interested in the exspence of time or money to get into PC myself so what I thought I may be able to do is find someone who Powder coats others bullets on the side I have a sizable amount of cast bullets in 45 9mm 380 and 32 probly enough for my wife, my daughter and I near forever plus I still have all my casting stuff. So is there anyone out there that offers a service like this?? Thanks Kurt

It's really pretty fast to do, and works great as long as you aren't trying to add diameter to them. PM me if you want to ship me some bullets and I can test coat some for you to try out. The coating is so cheap, what I have on hand will easily do 100k bullets, and I don't see going through that in the next decade. I have green, gold, blue, black, brick red, and copper red. Plus I can mix colors and get weird blends.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211027/a57e4c9d298f6848869728bfb798196f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211027/41aa08a09d00f2008ab840594b49c51f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211027/5c1407eddf6857da94a367a2be9e715c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211027/c9fb5d367124d4372844413e00d61b80.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211027/572cddb4e9a78b2d15bb6859762f645e.jpg

you can get a starter pack from a vendor sponsor on here (smoke) and pick up a thrift store oven, thats all you need to do it yourself.

p.s. throw the harbor fright stuff away.

Sorry about your health issues.

There has been recent discussions on stuff like this (selling cast bullets) and I looked into providing a service about a year ago to sell primers without needing to get HazMat certification. My plan was to have brass sent to me. I would prime the brass and charge for the primers and processing time. I even contacted No. 1 to investigate becoming a Vendor Sponsor. The regulations are not supportive of such endeavors.

Many ridicule the rules, and think it is OK in small quantities but all you need is some government twit to want to make an example of someone, or make a point, and it would get ugly. Even bartering is not permitted. I never inquired about providing a service at no cost and that may be possible.

The regulations are stupid but they are what they are. I decided the reward was not worth the risk, and sold my excess primers through another channel.

If anyone wishes to help this fellow out, it would be prudent to use PM or better yet email. Posting on the thread is not wise IMO.

There will be a few who will disagree with this post; and some more vehemently than others. In the end, we live our lives doing what is acceptable to us. I ignore stupid rules (well...I think they are stupid) but do not post about it.
