Speed guesstimate

I have two very accurate loads out of my Super Blackhawk Hunter with 7.5in barrel.

240 Swc with 8.0 grains of Win 231
255 Keith bullet with 18.0 of 2400

Can anyone tell me what speed they should be going?

I would guess the 8/231 would just over 1000fps, and the 18/2400 around 1300fps.

^^ Ditto what Big Bore said. My 7 1/2" FA averages 1292 fps with 18 gr. of 2400 under a Lyman 429244 and Winchester primers.
