Hello Everyone,

I have the above rifle, built on a 98 Mauser action with a 26" barrel, scoped with a 6x Kollmorgan. I do have a Lyman mold #287405, which produces a 150 grain round nose bullet. What I don't have is any load information. Does anyone out there shoot this obsolete caliber, or have any suggestions? I have cases made from 7MM Rem. Mag., is that the place to start? In passing, the barrel is marked L.I. Wallick - 275 H&H. Does anyone out there know who this fellow was? Any help would be appreciated.

A hunting buddy showed up at elk camp with a Rigby rifle chambered in the 275 H&H (RIGBY RIFLE - NOT 275 RIGBY!!!)
I took an interest in it and he has been using these loadings. The brass is mostly 7mm Remington Magnum based, and he has a hundred or so Kynoch that is properly heads stamped.
The data is from Load Data, my buddy prefers Winchester LMRP.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211017/4300f3456c0aae65ff047edb29cf592b.jpg

The original bore diameter was slightly larger if using cast not a issue have a mold made if wanting copper jacketed may have trouble with finding larger bullets , if so there is always custom swage dies .

With your mold does it cast the right size if it is close you can up the size with powder coat , I myself have some odd chamberings and it has made me buy custom molds cut to different diameters .
