No need. 1:3 or 1:4 is enough with target loads for 45 ACP

In a Lee 10,pound pot 7lbs scrap & 1 lb Rotometals linotype, is what i use. Not coated.
. When i tried almost pure lead, bullets deformed & stuck on the feel ramp. Jammed. Never happened before.
The alloy has to make the as cast diameter you need. Antimony in linotype makes as cast larger in diameter & harder.
The near pure was tried because of reading on this website.

Powder coating gives you a lot of leeway with your alloy choices. I would say 10% Lino, maybe 20%, and see how they shoot.

Yeah, I wouldn't waste much Linotype on 45ACP. You could probably get by with 2% tin, 98% Lead, and cast at a low temperature to reduce the amount of heat shrinkage. I like to cast 45ACP at around 680*. Save the Lino for higher pressure cartridges.

I've been using a 5/1 with a bit of added tin for 45 ACP and 9mm.

Mostly using Hi-Tek.

Save the lino. I use the same boolit with PC at a 25-1 lead-tin mix at 10 BHN with 4.5gr. red dot. No leading and accurate from my Springfield 1911A1. I have several friends using the same without problems. As others have said, save that precious lino for the HV stuff.

You can shoot pure lead in a 45acp so 4-1 lead/lino is plenty hard with a 0.452" bullet.
