I have plenty of bees wax and plenty of paraffin. What else do I need to make bullet lube? Kept it simple please. I'm from Texas.

I would keep it simple if you are just looking to add one ingredient and use about one part bees wax and 3 parts Lithium chassis grease and skip the paraffin altogether.

There are a lot of recipes for boolit lubes. Type it in the search box and you’ll most likely find something that suits you.

Add mutton tallow and you have Gato Feo’s #1. Ratio by weight is 2 parts paraffin, 2 parts mutton tallow and 1 part beeswax. For black powder it’s hard to beat in wool wads for a cap and ball, grease band bullets or grease cookies if patching. I’m not a muzzle loader but it has a good reputation with those that do shoot patched balls. Gato Feo #1 also works well with mild velocity smokeless loads too. Soft enough to use unheated in a LubriMatic but doesn’t run/migrate in Florida temps. As an added benefit, it doubles as an excellent boot dubbing.

Try simple lube---look it up, easy to make, and a good lube.

Add Vaseline and Ivory soap.

Search for "666+1" or "Satan's Lube"

I would get some Lucas Red-N-Tacky Lithium Grease , automotive section .

1 part Lithium Grease
3 parts Beeswax
Paraffin wax as needed to harden the lube up .(some beeswax's are softer than others and the grease is soft) ... you want the lube to be firm and not too soft .

heat and blend with old heavy whisk in a old Crock Pot , Lithium grease will not melt , it only softens and must be blended into the beeswax . Keep at 145 degrees F . Do not over heat or it will scorch 185 degrees F . Too much heat and beeswax will flash ...burst into flame ... use the crock pot to keep temp. down , mix and let cool three times to insure a uniform and complete blending of the ingredients . Test hardness / softness while blending and add paraffin if needed to get desired consistency . What you are making is called Lithi-Bee Lube . I like it .
