If you use a static gun to coat your bullets how do you get coating on the base?

most dont worry about it. the overspray/flashing breaks of when you size them. I tried standing some hollow points on nose down on screws one time and it did work but I found while the spray did give better looking coverage, the ole shake and bake was much easier in the end.

I set my boolits on 22 cases that are riveted to baking pans so the PC wraps around the base.

I would shake so bad while trying to put that in the oven that all the bullets would be laying on their side.

It does take a steady hand to go from the PC table to the oven, but as long as the base is cut pretty flat the boolits are surprisingly stable. It also helps to PC as close to the oven as possible. I set a garbage can, with a piece of cardboard on top, right in front of the toaster oven to limit how far the tray needs to be moved.
