Picked these up and have no idea what model they fit. Any idea?

I purchased them from a Italian Prop house on ebay. They were listed as Colt 1917 grips, but they are not. Just from browsing Google the 1892 was one that did look similar.

Some measured dimensions and view of the back side frame pin holes would help.
I'm guessing 1892 New Army or later Army Special.

Provide a steel rule for scale would help or measure width at butt, height to center screw and distance from butt and back strap to frame pin.

1892,1894, 1896 or later Colt Army Specials. That would be my guess.

No help, but I'd love to put those on a Python just to see the look on people's faces at a gun show.......

I'll see if I can manage any more pictures. Between this sites archaic software and my lacking technology prowess, uploading pictures is a major PITA for me.
