Are the .32 molds dropping to a diameter that can be used in an 8mm? I was surfing and ran across some info on .32 but it was never refered to as 8mm. Just wondered if it would work.

Nominal groove in the 32-40 and 32 Special is supposed to run .321", while 8mm runs .323" in "S" bore rifles. I have no experience with the 32 Special or any molds made to service it--just 8mm. Not a lot of molds out there for either caliber, really--but the 8mm molds are far more common than those specific to the 32 WS.

My 32 winnie special in a winnie lever of about 1992 manufacture has .316 lands, .323 grooves, and will allow .325 boolits. ... felix

My RCBS 32-170 casts at .320 on the first drive band and about .3205-.321 on the second. Cast from WW. Regards, Woody
