Ordered 3 parts from Brownell's. This is the box they came in. Makes you wonder.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210915/12dec5ebfd029978504c335635a4d402.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210915/51e14f9f22c2a3ed44c4bdb665fdec8e.jpg

At least they didn't get beat up in transit.
I agree with the unstated opinion the parts could have been more economically shipped in an envelope.

Hard to lose a box that size. LOL
If you are on the Edge program the rate may be the same for 2nd day whether box or envelope.
( Edge is Amazon Prime for guns at Brownells)

I've gotten stuff in boxes, then later the same sort of thing in a padded envelope.
It might just depend on who was working the shipping station that day, or if they ran out of one or the other type carton.
I've always been confused when something packed in a sturdy box suitable for shipping is put into another, larger box & shipped.

Have you seen Amazon's box size differential? I had one that 3 of those shipping boxes would fit into and part was about the same as yours

I don't know about box size......."I get so excited that the dog goes out and gets the package while I sniff the UPS guy's butt" - Tim Allen
