How much is a Python worth, roughly. This is a buddy selling it to me and he isn't sure what it is worth and neither am I, an obviously I don't want to take advantage of him.

Bought one about 6 mo. ago. SS near mint. Came with 2 speed loaders, 2 holsters, and a box of ammo. $550.00
Guy at the local gun shop told me he could get me at least $800 for it.
Not for sale though, I love this thing.
A few months ago, American Rifleman had a little writeup on them, said the prices are up but could go down if Colt starts to manufacture them again.

I would head to Gunbroker.com and see what they are actually selling for... something in the same condition and barrel length and serial #..
Without pictures, barrel condition, serial # ???
God Bless you !

Been a while since I've seen it but it is blue, 6 inch and IIRC about 80% maybe better. The rest I couldn't tell you. Might not be able to afford it. I'll have hands on tomorrow.

I would agree with 800 to 1000 based on what I have seen at a show today.
