Hi guys, This may be a dumb question for some. I have been loading lots of these using 5.0-5.4 gr of bullesye. I don't have a book that lists many pb bullets. I am shooting these thru various pistols and revolver. Anyone have an idea as to how low a charge I can safely use. Just punching holes in paper and trying to stretch my powder. Thanks for all replies. Mac

You'll lose accuracy, your gun won't function properly or you'll get incomplete powder burn when you get too low. When any of those start to happen, add back in a tenth or two and you'll have a great plinking load. Don't over think it and make it harder than it has to be.

Thanks guys I thought about 4.0 would be about right. And RydForLyf those are good tips, I do sometimes tend to overthink things. I have been reloading for 25+ years, but I try to be very, very careful. Especially as I have gotten older, I will be 69 soon and I double and triple check stuff. Mac

Hey WWMartin, my chrono showed 4.0 gr at 826, 859, 826 then the 5.0 was 964, 985,998 with 4.3" barrel in Beretta APX and these were carefully measured on my RCBS 10-10 Ohaus scale.
