Ed Harris wrote an article about 13 grains of Red Dot in many calibers from .30 caliber up. I'm looking for experiences with this load, including cartridge, bullet weight and alloy, and success.
Thanks;

I always thought that the MAGB (make any gun go bang) load was 13 Gn 2400.

IIRC it's 13 gr Red Dot or 16 2400. Check the archives here, it was discussed here recently.

I occasionally load 'light' loads for a variety of rifle calibers shooting cast bullets. Years ago I loaded 30-30 with 13 grains of Unique and use the same amount for the other calibers. For some reason it just seems to work. I don't use any filler, perhaps I should but the bullets just keep going where I want them. Probably not good enough for match work, but good for plinking,,,,and cheap too!
