Not sure if I've asked that before but is there anyone who makes a HP gas checked .227 boolit mold ?

I am no help with the GC part, what are you using it in if you don't mind me asking?

NOE makes a few in .228 - but none are set up for HP. You could send one to Eric at Hollow Point Mold Service for conversion. You didn't mention a bullet weight, but there are some 46 gr WFN in stock.

Check out the group buy going on right now by Lakehouse for an MP mold in 227 and 65-75 grain weights. Can get hollow points, gas checks, plain base, or no lube grooves for powder coating. Covers all the bases.

5.56 AR-15. Really need it to be gas checked for my applications

For what use? For what velocity? For what distance? For what cartridge? For what firearm?

When one asks for something called “optimum” they need to supply more information. Kinda like asking how long is a piece of string….and kind of a thread jack.

For use in a lever action Savage 99 22 High Power. Most shots under 100 yards. Will be used for target and occasional hunting of Deer.
