Purchased a Winchester 1894 Leg. Frontiersman some months ago. Unfired.
After having acquiring a precision Accurate mold, 4-bags of Starline brass, RCBS Cowboy Dies, and a Williams FP sight my work started.
I have been shooting the rifle for some months with moderate loads obtaining great accuracy.
Extremely pleased. Then I noticed one day the magazine tube had slipped out. Carefully set it back.
Few more range sessions. Then disaster.
The magazine holder/hanger split and the tube and forearm shot out a few feet from my bench.
Cannot find any parts or Winchester Authorized repair facility that can repair it. No parts.
Any ideas, or is the gun and equipment a total loss?
