Ideal Lyman combo molds

What is the history of the combo molds? Two different 30 cal bullets on one and 224 and 358 combo for example. Were these special order?

Yes, special order.

It was advertised in the Lyman Cast Bullet hand books and some early reloading manuals.

They, if genuine, should have the bullet number stamped on the outside. Maybe even the cherry number, as well.

Cruise the Goon Shows watching for old Lyman/Ideal loading books. There is a wealth of information within them. Much of what we are trying to do today was done back in the 1950's.
