Has anyone received a shotgun they ordered from Browning? One of my shotgun students ordered a Silver Field 20 gage last October and still hasn't got it. First they said it would be an April delivery, then June, and now July (only one week left).
Are they sending them to their "big" retailors and not to my LGC?

Browing has a nasty habit of advertising a new gun a full year before they actually hit the market. If his is a new one that's the problem.

The Silver Field has been out for several years. For a couple months last year, that's the one she borrowed from another club member (Till he had a bad day. Said he couldn't see the birds. We haven't seen him since). Now I hear there are 30+ container ships anchored off coast of CA waiting to unload. Can only hope it's in there.

Yep, anything overseas is a crap shoot these days. Import taxes, restrictions, inspections and work force issues at the docks have played havoc with shipping. I guess you are lucky there are only 30 ships waiting. A few months ago it was closer to 100 from what I was able to get out of the news.

Got some sort of good news today. LGS tells me the Silver Field in made in the good ol' USA. Latest delivery estimate is two weeks. At least the delays they're giving me are getting smaller.
