Greetings,

I have an old SAECO mould with "061" stamped on the sprue plate.

It produces a 0.245" by 100 grain bullet.

Very similar to the current SAECO #243 mould which is rated at 85 grains.

The question I have, is the "061" correct for this bullet design? Sometimes sprue plates get swapped.

Better yet, does anyone have an old SAECO catalog listing this mould they could scan for me?

Cheers,

Dave

Are you sure its marked Saeco? RCBS has a 243 mold that drops a 95 grain boolit. Is this it?

I just checked my SAECO catalog and find no reference to a "061" mold.

Greetings All,

It has all the characteristics of a SAECO mould. The screws used match the same pattern as my SAECO RG4 mould.

I have the RCBS 24-95-FN and RCBS 24-100-FN moulds as well.

Cheers,

Dave
