I was having issues making good, reliable .32ACP ammo with lead bullets so I went back to basics and slugged a few bores.
Quite a variation in bore sizes. No wonder I was having issues with the CZ's chambering & working properly with the lead bullet loads. The Remington 51 is fairly new and I had not tried my reloads out of it yet.
It looks like the lead bullets for .32ACP will need to be made in a .310 batch and a .314 batch. Pretty sure my mold drops them at .3135'ish 285700

* the 1913 refers to S&W 1913

I don't load 32 ACP - but who knows what lies down the road? I have a friend who was given a 1905 Pocket Colt by the WWII Vet who carried in it the Pacific. He wants to learn how to reload for 380 acp and if I can put together a set of 32 acp dies, etc. - I would like to be able to reload some so he could shoot the 1905 Colt. I had no idea that the 32's would vary so much.

Great information and interesting - I'm making notes on it and am going to clip it to the 32 ACP page of my Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook. Thank you for taking the time to post.

All of us who use a Pardini target pistol use the Accurate 62 grain bullet that I designed. It had to be .314 for accuracy and the base of the bullet only goes down .250 because the brass will bulge too much if I go any deeper. I use a home made expander to keep from swaging the bullet size down. I originally used a 75 grain bullet but it wasn't fat enough and gave very poor accuracy. Around .312 if I remember correctly. We shoot them probably lighter than most would want to. I use either 1.5 Titegroup or 1.15 of Titewad. The Titegroup is a bit more accurate but is really filthy and I have to clean the gun about every 300 rounds. The Titegroup will give 1.5 inch accuracy at 50 yards and he Titewad will go around 2 inches. I normally use the dirty rounds when shooting 50 yard slow fire and the "clean" ones for 25 yard timed and rapid fire. They go around 720 fps.
