The last few days I have been having problems with the "search" function here. Usually you can put in some "key words" and quit a few threads come up. Every time I have tried, I get "no results".

Examples:

I was looking for some threads on the 38-40 cartridge and I know I have read some threads before. I tried 38-40 ..... 38 WCF . . . . . nothing came up - "no results"

I was looking for threads on 380 ACP (looking to see what some folks use for Bullseye, Red Dot, etc. loads. There should be quite a few threads and there was one in the reloading equipment forum a week or so ago as I went back and found it on page 3 of that forum

Put in a variety 380 ACP searches and still got repeated "no results"

Is there a glitch qr an issue with that function? It has always worked for me and as far as I know, nothing has changed with my computer. Just curious as to why it worked before but not now?

I have had problems with it as well.

Go to the advanced search and it seems to work better with that. At least you get some search results.

I have had the same problem. My workaround is the just do a google search with cast boolits in the title, ex 38-40 Winchester Cast Boolits.

use any search engine and enter site:castboolits.gunloads.com along with the search terms.

I get very poor results also. I seldom try to use the search function anymore.

Thanks . . . . then I'm not going nuts! LOL

I hadn't thought about using another search engine and putting castboolits in the search - thank you for that suggestion - makes perfect sense.

I try and try. But never really get where I want to be. So I think twice before trying again.
