Bought a 45acp RN 230 grain magma mould that needed some work so that handles could be attached. I sent it to buckshot and he had that sucker back in no time. He drilled and tapped the mould, provided me with attachment pins, added a stop pin. Man it sure looks sweet!! Can't wait to cast some boolits with it.

OH MAN...............I just got some custom sizer dies from Rick (Buckshot) on the forum. I had some monster bullets I couldn't size and he set me up with a custom die to lube them first at as cast diameter (Lyman/RCBS type die) and then a Lee push through nose first to swage them down.

I've done *some* work with Lee sizers but not much because I don't like Mule Snot. Mounted in the old Rock chucker I've got that Lee sizer just doesn't take ANY effort at ALL.

When I was trying to size about .004 off the bullets in my Lyman sizer I was breaking toggle links and irritating my arthritis in my hands.

Shove 'em through the Lyman die to get lube on them then shove them through the Lee to size with zero effort.

................AND HIS PRICES DID NOT COST ME A FORTUNE AND HE DELIVERED IN A WEEK!!!!

WAY STRAIGHT SHOOTER AND GREAT WORK!

I got my .267" Lube/Sizer yesterday from Rick and I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with it. He had sized the boolit that I sent to him and returned it with the die and when I mic'd it, my mic read 0.26700000". I mean it was dead nuts! Awesome. I even stuck the gauge under a lighted magnifying glass and I could not see even a hair on either side of the line. Hooooeeee! When you're hot , you're hot! This is not my first dealing with Rick and it sure won't be the last. I just wonder why I haven't been using his dies all along, unless it is his statement that he doesn't make sizes that are made commercially. I guess he doesn't want to put them out of business.[smilie=1::-D

it's prolly a well known fact that buckshot is a straight shooter ( but i'm sayin' it again :P ) not only does he shoot straight he also shoots fast !!!! i did a lil deal with him for some j-words ( yeah i have more than one caliber i dont cast for yet ) better yet the man also understands that pups are precious to us that lov'em , and a fellow who loves dogs ..well they are just alright in my dogs book as well as mine ! kupi kat and i thank you sir ! have a great week !!!!

I had a mould missing the HP pin, sent it to him. He did a fabulous job making the new pin and refurbishing the mold. Buckshot is A++++ and one of the best folks on the list. I have dealt with him several times and his work is ALWAYS the best and I am always happy with his work.

Hello Folks,

Today, in timely fashion, I received a Lyman/RCBS sizing die custom made for me by Buckshot. The die is an example of exceptional craftsmanship, truly a work of pragmatic art. It came with a bullet that had been sized, which I checked with my micrometer, and found it to be correct to 0.0001” of advertised diameter. Rick is one of the straight shooters, to be sure.

I have wanted to get a mould hollow-pointed as well as try some of Buckshot's cake cutters for boolit removal when pan lubing. I finally got that done and I received my stuff from Buckshot today. All the praises about his machine work are absolutely true. I found him to be very personable and a delight to do business with. If you, like me have been saying "I want to do that", I'd highly recommend you give him a PM and get the ball rolling. You will be very pleased with the results.
