Sorry i tried to search this topic but couldn't come up with an answer. I made my own PID controller (Using Johnny's reloading bench video) and the 2 fuse holders that i bought came with 5 amp fuses. No local store carries 1 and 10 amp fuses. I got ahead of myself and started to use the PID unit with the two 5 amp fuses with no ill effects. I did end up buying a 100pk assorted fuses but my question is....Should i swap the two 5 amp for the 1 and 10 amp respectively? I've used the PID 3 times with 0 issues. But I don't want to fry anything so i guess i should... Thoughts?

I am assuming that the 1 amp fuse is for the PID and the other is for the heating element. If that is the case I would definitely change to a one amp fuse. I am surprised that the 5 amp is carrying the element. That is only 620 watts but if its working no need to up it.

I think WV means 10 amp for the pot and 1 amp for the PID controller
