how do you like it? pros-cons, your opinions, yeah I know it will only work with genuine Hornady shell holders unless your able to modify other brands of shell holders to have same hole size and taper as Hornady has.

I have an old school Hornady case trimmer that takes single stage press shell holders.
The only issue I've had with mixing & matching shell holders is---
they all work & interchange on it, and the press, except for Lee ones.

The Lee's work fine for 'shell holding', but the hole in them is smaller than everybody else's
and the trimmer shaft thing that holds the base of the case tightly or primer seating rod won't go through them.

I've tried drilling out a couple with just cheap drill bits, and it didn't go well.

It’s worked well for me. The shell holder thing didn’t bother me as I only had to buy an additional 3 but I’m sure if one had to buy many it wouldn’t be a good deal.

I have several types of trimmers in my arsenal, including the Hornady Cam Lock Trimmer.

I only use the Cam Lock now.
I use it with a cordless drill and once the Cam Lock Trimmer is setup, and making sure the adjustment lock nut is tight, I get consistent trim lengths.
I like it better than the others because the length is referenced from the case base, rather than the case shoulder.
Much more accurate, in my opinion.
