Looking good there. We have had very good spring weather and our garden is doing well too. Potatoes, tomatoes, zucchini, beans, radishes, green onions, spinach and peppers. Also pie cherries, grapes and blueberries. Put up some rhubarb and dandelion wine too.

Some of my melon plants only have 4 leaves. We need a rain bad, and an end to this relentless 95- 100 degrees. My squash and melon patch is too far from a hydrant, so I haul water in buckets, I think it's going to be a long summer.

We picked 4 quarts of cherry tomatoes tonight. We've been blessed with rain all spring and summer. We have been giving away cukes to the neighbors by the dozens. So much yellow squash and zucchini but they are just about done. Not our usual luck with the peppers this year. Only one Poblano!

Your garden looks great. We live in a cooler climate, but the recent heat wave has really made our crops grow the last few days.
We had a few little potatoes for supper yesterday.

We started a small setup to evaluate. Have over a dozen growing bags set up with garlic, potatoes, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers. I also planted a separate berry patch with strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries. Planted two cherry trees along with a grape "stick" (just starting out). Got a few strawberries from five plants, but they are producing a huge a amount of runners. I have 30 new plants already I starter pots and more are coming. Should be set for next year. We had a really good growing spring this year.

Oh for the space. I've got about a half acre with a house on it. Picking blueberries now, they have been there over 20 years. Have herbs and one cuke plant and some beans and eggplant, but no room for corn, okra, or runners (melons).

Worst year ever here in Louisiana. It has rained almost every day since before planting day ( Feb 15) . Every planting has been in mud ( the soil has never dried). I lost 40% of my onions and 90% of my tomatoes. I have had to use 4 times the usual fertilizer because all of the rain leaching and the anaerobic bacteria in the waterlogged soils changing the nitrogen fertilizer to gaseous nitrogen.
I hope next year will be better.

I can report that if the county fair gives out blue ribbon for champion weeds this year I've got a bunch of top contenders. however the chestnut orchard is looking real good after rain yesterday and through the night.

Would you believe all my yellow squash died...yellow squash usually grows so abundantly that you loose freinds and make enemies giving all that yellow squash to people ...they run when they see you coming with a grocery sack . I have never had squash die ...wife said it drowned ... I think stem or vine borers did it ...but regardless ...every plant started out well then withered and died !

Can't remember the last time I had to shoo a moose or bear out of the garden. On the other hand deer are raiding my apple trees. Come October there will be a reckoning. I hope to eat backstrap and apple pie in a revenge meal.

It is shaping up to be a good year. The patch where the melons are has been a work in progress for the past 7 or 8 years. The patch where the corn is for the past 4 years or so. Lots of mushroom compost, cover crops, and sweat. Gardening will always be a work in progress.

I think the corn field across the road went up 8" from when I went out to the shop this morning and came in this afternoon. Not in tassel yet but its a good looking stand of corn

Mine looks good but the garden is small, tomatoes ,peppers, squash, carrots and radishes. don't remember a July starting out with rain ever day and 70's normally 90-110, not complaining but thankful.

There is a disease (fungus?) that affects only cucurbits - we had it one year, came in with some soil we bought. It lasts about three years in the soil and is renewed every year it affects the plants. Don't know if you have it but just some awareness.

We don't have pest or diseases, only cold and clammy weather that can persist well into June. This year that didn't happen. We have gumbo clay soil though and it has taken years to amend it. Raised beds are popular in these parts because of that. I always liked helping with the garden as a child and I guess it stuck. We hang the wash out too.
