When I cast wheel alloy or 20-1 the bullets drop easily but when I try mag alloy, 92-6-2, which of course yields a larger diameter bullet they're very hard to get out. I know I shouldn't be wrapping the mold when it's closed but that does work, they fall out easier. Pulling the mold open without tapping, distorts the bottom band as the nose is free of the mold. What else should I try? labop

More heat will cause the bullets to shrink more as they cool in mold. When you see frosted bullet, drop back the heat a hair & let mold cool a tiny bit.

Inspect all the edges for burs and lips. A q tip will find them quickly. Clean them up by breaking all the edges with a razor blade. Some times just breaking the edges with a razor will help. Sharp edges capture bullets. Thats what i do with stuborn grippy molds. A Lee mold wont make it rain like an NOE mold but its good enough where they fall out with a tap from a wood stick enstead of a wack with a mallet.

You can also order molds to match your alloy. I am a poor man though.
