But....Joe The Biden says that is not a human life and demands Communion from The Church! Good story and a miracle. That "0 Percent" thing needs to be revised

This fellow premie is certainly cheering this little tyke on, and is cheered by his progress.

Any real premie care is a relatively new thing and has advanced amazingly lately. The year I was born was the first year that hospitals were uniformly installing incubators and creating wards for premies, and I was lucky enough to be born in a hospital so new that construction crews were still finishing it as I spent my first six weeks in it.

My daughter was a premature birth, we were told her chances were slim. That was in 1993, and just last month her and her husband welcomed a perfectly healthy set of twins. Thanks for posting this story, I needed to be reminded that good things do happen.

I was a 4lb, 3 oz premie myself. I was told my chances were initially not very good,, but I was in an incubator for a while etc. When I reached a month old,, my Dad caught my mother crying,, thinking I was going to die. Dad picked me up,, and told her I was gaining weight.
Well, even though I was born in a small, out of the way,, backwoods hospital in the late 1950's, my family Doctor was the one credited with saving me. He was one very good Dr. and up until he no longer practiced medicine,, he was our family Dr.

I suffered zero complications,, and enjoy very good health.

So,, my heart goes out to this young boy with my sincerest prayers for a continued life of health living!

I had to laugh at the picture of him & his cake. I have some of my youngest son's 1st b-day that looks VERY similar. Well, my son also buried his face in the cake. :D
