This is probably not the right venue - but - I'm looking for 8MMX57 Mauser brass. I thought I had some, and I do - 20 cases. Looking for more. Suggestions, Please?

Rather than wasting your money on hard to find (here in the US, anyway) Mauser brass...why not just make your own ? You can easily form 8mm Mauser brass from 30/06 or 270 Win. brass. By the time I gave up my last Mauser, virtually ALL of the brass I had for it was re-formed. You'll probably not have too much trouble finding 30/06 brass...

I fully agree: I add that rather than paying in spades some cheap new rifle brass, I would prefer to use 30-06, also 2nd shot, but of some reliable brand, reformed according to the specifications of each of my 8x57 _

Or do a want to buy in the swapping and selling area.

You should find some there.

But the suggestion to reform from a donor case is valid advise.

Making 8x57 from 30/06 or 270 Winchester is a pretty straight forward conversion if you have access to the cases.

Or buying 06 or 270 cases may be cheaper/more available.

30/06, 270, AND 7M/M, brass is a very strong parent case and will give you years of service. so as the guys stated, go for it. just lube lightly and trim them, and VIOLA!! 8m/m.

I used to form 6.5-06 brass. I agree with previous posts, forming brass is easy once you get into it.
