12ga Encore Barrel Without Rifling

Hey folks, I have an Encore frame which is kind of my do-everything option for things I don't need very often. Even after years of gun ownership, I have somehow managed to maintain a safe without a 12 gauge shotgun in it, and I thought the Encore was a good solution to that, but my pet barrel maker (Match Grade Machine) seems to only offer rifled barrels. Is there a trustworthy source you would recommend for just a plain smoothbore in stainless with threading for chokes?

I don't know the answer to your question, but for an occasional use shotgun why are removeable choke tubes even needed?

Maybe I'm just a stick in the mud, but a plain old Modified or Full choked barrel works fine with nothing to worry bout out at the business end of the barrel.

Oh, you're probably right. I just assume that it's good policy to be able to make that change because different shells will pattern differently in each gun. Might not add up to a hill of beans.

I don't know about SS but if you look around you should be able to find a 12ga Turkey barrel I love the one that I have also TC did make a 20ga vent rib barrel

Ya I had a Encore 12ga slug barrel dang near nockd me out of my tree stand sold it but Ido have a 12ga Turkey barrel yes it kicks just as much but I'm sitting on the ground
