Hey, I get it. One could use numerous Tupperware containers but this one kind of struck me as a freebie. I want to love the metal snuff boxes but the lack of lid retention without a bunch of work kinda irks me. If you know a sparky the Super 88 tape containers have a lid retention system, are 3.5” diam vs 2.75”and are see through to boot. Apologies if this is old hat, but these get thrown out by the thousand every day......... Excuse the non traditional ;-)

I reuse old cap tins for little parts like extra nipples. I also found some metal tins at $Tree I like to use for small stuff and they seal well. About the size of a Skoal tin and some a little smaller, in fact I have a old skoal plastic container I found.

The plastic snuff cans work really well for keeping all kinds of patches and stuff.

My wife uses this skin moisturizer and saves the tins for me. They are 3 inches in diameter and about 1 inch high. While the will not hold a liquid they can be used for holding bulk lube, lubed patches, char cloth or just about anything that will fit inside. They would even hold about 15 or so 54 cal balls.

I use these for lots of different stuff.

RWS percussion cap containers too.

I also find stuff in the Hobby Lobby jewelry making section. Lots of smaller containers, some that seal well for liquids.

.

FWIW, Ted Cash has all kinds of shapes/sizes of brass boxes used by muzzle loading folks, myself included:
